*Times are shown in 24-hour format.
*Maintenance work time may vary.
■ Impact During Work Time
The service will remain available for continued use during the above time period; however, only the Security Group screen, accessed from the Settings menu, will be unavailable.
■ Feature Additions
- Addition of the "Sublist Attachment" to the Contract Resource
- Addition of the "Time" Field Type
- Addition of Calculation Functions for Date-Type Fields
- Improvement of Email Template Selection UI
- Addition of Background Color Setting Feature for Records
- Addition of Search/Filtering Feature to the User List
- Internal Maintenance
1. Addition of the "Sublist Attachment" to the Contract Resource
We are adding Sublist Attachments to the Contract resource.
As with other resources, you can add, download, and delete attachments.
As with other resources, you can configure permissions for viewing, adding, downloading, and deleting the attachment sublist on the Security Group screen.
After the release is complete, the Contract sublist attachments will automatically be set to visible. (You can also hide them from the Customization screen.)
* It is not possible to attach files linked to the Contract resource when sending emails from Sales or Recruiter.
* Attachments for the Contract resource can also be newly registered and retrieved via the Resource API - Attachment in the PORTERS Connect API.
2. Addition of the "Time" Field Type
We are adding a new "Time (HH:mm)" field type that can be created through customization.
This allows items such as clock-in and clock-out times—which previously had to be managed as option-type fields in 5-minute increments—to now be managed in 1-minute increments, enabling sorting and range-based searches.
In addition, since the input range has been set to 00:00–47:59, cases such as 22:00–26:00 (i.e., 4:00 the next day) can now be expressed more easily. For example, this makes it easier to clearly represent overnight work hours.
(Time-type fields are not affected by the time zone configured in the user's settings.)
【Detailed Specifications】
- Input is accepted within the range of 00:00 to 47:59.
- On the customization screen, the icon for the Time field type is the same analog clock icon used for the Date & Time field type.
- On the search screen, you can search by specifying a range.
When searching for "15:00 or later and 26:00 or earlier"
When searching for "15:00 or later"
When searching for "26:00 or earlier"
When searching for "matches 26:00"
- Time values can be entered directly, or selected using a time picker that also supports times of 24:00 and later.
- Just like the Date & Time field type, the Time field type also supports sorting and filtering on the list screen. *Color settings are not available.
- For imports into Time type fields, if the input value contains a "number:number" pattern, it will be recognized as a time and registered accordingly.
Example: "Received a call yesterday at 9:23.am" ⇒ imported as "09:23". - If the input value contains multiple "number:number" patterns, the first "number:number" will be imported as the hour and minute.
Example: "Received calls yesterday at 9:23 and 12:30" ⇒ imported as "09:23". - The following common formats are also supported.
HH:mm
YYYY/MM/DD HH:mm
YYYY/MM/DD (HH:mm)
YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm
YYYY-MM-DD (HH:mm)
YYYY年MM月DD日 HH:mm
YYYY年MM月DD日 (HH:mm)
YYYYMMDD HH:mm
YYYYMMDD (HH:mm)
Import example
* For formats such as YYYY/MM/DD that do not include the hour and minute, or formats such as HHmm that do not include a colon, an error (error code 134) will occur regardless of whether error checking is enabled.
* Values such as "48:00", "12:60", or "130:00" will result in an error (error code 134) regardless of whether error checking is enabled, because the hour or minute portion exceeds the allowed upper limit.
- On export, values are output in HH:mm format.
- When using a Time-type field in a report's graph settings, the Date & Time field type allows you to choose a grouping of "by year," "by month," or "by day," whereas the Time field type is fixed to "by hour."
Example: Displaying 09:00–09:59 grouped as 09:00
- This field type cannot be used as an auto-matching search condition.
- For details on handling this field type via the API, please refer to the following:
【Scheduled】2026/7/28 New DateTime (Time) Data Type Added
3. Addition of Calculation Functions for Date-Type Fields
On the customization screen, just like the existing "calculation formulas for number-type and currency-type fields" feature, it will now also be possible to set calculation formulas for date-related field types [Date / Date Time / Time].
【Detailed Specifications】
- The basic specifications are the same as those for the existing number-type field feature.
- Calculation formulas cannot be set directly on Age-type (date of birth) fields, but these fields can be referenced within calculation formulas for date-type fields.
xample: To calculate the date on which someone turns 65 (retirement age): "addyear(Age-type [date of birth], 65)"
- Allowed input characters
・ Half-width alphanumeric characters
・ Symbols: + - * / . , ( ) _ : "
: “ These two symbols are being newly added as part of this release.
- Details on available functions and examples of calculation formulas are scheduled to be published on the Help page once the release is complete.
4. Improvement of Email Template Selection UI
We will add new features to the template selection UI on the email sending screen to make it easier to find the desired template.
① Addition of a text search/filtering feature
By entering part of a template name, templates with a partial match will be filtered and displayed.
With each keystroke, the three categories (Favorite Templates, Shared Templates, and My Templates) are filtered in real time, and the count shown in parentheses ( ) also updates to reflect the filtered results.
The search applies only to template names.
② Adding frequently used templates to Favorites
A ☆ (star) icon for adding to Favorites will be added to the icons that appear when hovering over a template.
Clicking the ☆ to turn it on will display that template in the Favorites category.
Clicking the ☆ again turns it off, returning the template to its original display under Shared Templates or My Templates.
When you turn the ☆ favorite mark on or off, the change (showing/hiding in the Favorites category) will take effect the next time you open the email sending screen.
5. Addition of Background Color Setting Feature for Records
On the list screen, you will now be able to set the background color of records that match a specified condition.
- Whereas the existing color setting feature applies at the item (column) level, the record background color setting changes the color at the record (row) level when the specified condition is met.
- The colors available for selection are pink, light blue, and gray (3 colors).
- Configuration is done from Customize Screen > Menu & List view > Menu pencil icon button > "List view" tab > "Color List Settings" button.
Only one item can be set as the condition. Multiple items cannot be combined as a single condition.
The item used as the condition must be an "item displayed in the list."
The item types that can be used as conditions are as follows. No other item types can be used as conditions.
・ Option type: Color can be set for each option
・ Date type (Date or Date Time): You can set one of the following: "X Days ago (up to)," "X Days within (from today)," or "X Days within (before today)"
・ Number type / Currency type / Age type: You can set a "from – to" numeric range
- The setting is applied commonly across all users' screens.
- If a condition is saved using a different item within the same list, the previously set condition will be cleared/deleted.
- Only "items displayed in the list" can be used as conditions. If an item used as a condition is removed from the list, the color will no longer be applied; however, if the item is added back to the list, the color setting will be applied again.
- If a record matches multiple conditions, the color set for the bottommost condition will be applied.
- If a data update changes whether a condition is matched or not, the record's color will be updated immediately.
- When the detail screen is opened, the color display on the existing detail screen takes priority.
- The Color-coded display of viewed data feature does not apply to records where the background color setting has been applied.
- In the matching results list, among records where the background color setting has been applied, records corresponding to "Show already matched records" will continue to have the light gray background as before.
6. Addition of Search/Filtering Feature to the User List
We are adding a search/filtering feature to the User List screen that allows you to quickly narrow down target users based on specific conditions.
① Filter Panel
A filter panel for entering filter conditions will be placed at the top of the User List screen.
As a result, the "Add New User" button will move to the upper right.
When you enter or select a value in each field of the filter panel, the search is performed instantly. Updated user information is reflected as a differential update within the list, without reloading the screen.
To clear the conditions, click "Clear all" in the upper right.
When conditions are entered in multiple fields, they are combined using AND logic.
Name / Email: Text input. Partial match search.
Department Name / User Type / Remote Access: Multiple selection available from a dropdown.
Usage Status: On initial screen display, the "Usage Status" filter will default to only "Active" being selected.
Last Login Date: You can select from "7+ Days ago," "30+ Days ago," "60+ Days ago," or "90+ Days ago."
② Number of Displayed Records / Paging
Up to 200 users will be displayed per page.
The number of displayed records can be switched between 50, 100, and 200 via the dropdown in the upper right.
If the number of records exceeds the display limit, paging will be applied.
③ ID / Field Order
An "ID" field will be added to the list.
The ID is used internally to identify users, and is mainly used with APIs (applications).
In addition, the order of some fields will be changed.
④ Sorting
By clicking the sort button on a field's title, you can sort that field in ascending or descending order.
1st click: Ascending order
2nd click: Descending order
3rd click: Sorting off
⑤ Display of User Type and Usage Status
The display design for User Type / Usage Status will be changed based on their content, to make them easier to distinguish at a glance.
7. Internal Maintenance
We will perform internal maintenance, including adding fields related to new resources planned for future addition.
■ Bug Fixes
- Fix for an issue where the database was locked for an extended period during report output
This is a bug that was previously fixed in PORTERS 8.1.17, but the fix was inadvertently reverted, so we are re-applying it.
・ When report generation takes a long time, the database was being locked for a long time, causing other processes to fail.
・ We are changing part of the process that saves the report data to the database, so that the database is not locked when saving data that takes a long time.
※ Due to this correction, if the report has a large amount of data, the processing time may be longer than before. We appreciate your understanding.
- Fix for an issue where the "Date of Birth (Age)" field could be deleted
This fixes an issue where the "Date of Birth (Age)" field (Resume.P_DateOfBirth) on the Candidate resource — which should not normally be deletable — could in some cases be deleted.
Even in PORTERS environments where this field has already been deleted, it will be restored to its pre-deletion state as an "unused field."
※ The field name shown is the default value. Please note that it may have been changed to a different name via customization.
