In the data entry screen (new addition/edit), you can switch the field layout displayed for each pattern.
For example, in a medical Client that develops nursing, doctor, and pharmacist businesses, you may want to hide the doctor and pharmacist job fields when registering a nursing job. By setting up separate patterns for nursing, doctor, and pharmacist, you can display only the necessary fields on the data entry screen.
- You can create patterns in addition to the "default" layout (the previous layout). (Up to 10 patterns per resource)
- When creating a new pattern, you can hide unnecessary fields or change the field arrangement based on the "default".
- You can create a pattern-specific group for each pattern. (Pattern-specific items cannot be created.)
- When the pattern usage setting is turned ON, a pull-down menu will be displayed at the top of the data entry screen, allowing you to select a pattern.
- Only the fields displayed in the pattern will be subject to initial values and required field error checks.
Pattern Creation
Open the 'Detail View & Items' of the resource for which you want to create a pattern in the customization screen, and click '+Add new' at the top.
Enter the name of the pattern and save it.
The tab of the saved pattern will be displayed. It is copied from the 'default' screen, and hidden groups/fields are not inherited.
Hide unnecessary fields, change the arrangement of fields, and adjust the layout.
You can also create unique groups for this pattern.
※ Only the fields displayed in the pattern will be subject to initial values, formulas, and required field error checks.
Therefore, if you want to reflect initial values or ensure that required fields are always entered, make sure to display the fields.
Also, if you hide fields with formulas, the calculations will not be executed, so please be careful.
Once the layout is complete, click 'Save Layout' and turn on 'Enabled' in the pattern editing screen, then save.
You can create up to 10 patterns. You can rearrange the tabs by dragging and dropping them. You can also delete unnecessary patterns using the trash can button.
When you open the data entry screen (new addition/edit), a pull-down menu will be displayed at the top, allowing you to select a pattern.
※ When you click [Save] on the data entry screen, the changes will be reflected only for the fields displayed at that time. Changes to fields hidden by the pattern will not be reflected.
(Example: After entering content in Pattern A, switch to Pattern B and enter, then save. → Only the content entered on the Pattern B screen will be reflected)
